DR. HAROLD C. BREWER

Harold C. Brewer was born in Kansas City, Missouri and reared in KC Kansas. He attended Kansas City Junior College, Oakwood College; graduated from Union College (B.A.), Andrews University (M.A. in Theology) and earned a Ph.D. from Evangel Christian University in 1999. He also was awarded an honorary doctorate from Daniel Payne college (now Faith College) of Birmingham, Alabama.

Pastor Brewer looks back with gratitude to the marvelous congregations he was privileged to serve—Glenville (Cleveland), Northside (St. Louis), Ephesus (New Orleans), Philadelphian (San Francisco), Linden (NYC)

He served three years as NE conference evangelist and has proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ as pastor-evangelist, served as founding pastor-evangelist of three large churches- Mt. Sinai in NYC, Temple of Praise in Cleveland, Ohio and Northside in St. Louis. Since retirement he has conducted evangelistic meetings in the United States, Canada, London, Trinidad and Africa. After his official retirement of 40 years, he has continued to serve in ministry for over 55 years of service. He most recently led the Hernando Mission SDA church of Spring Hill, FL in building a $ 1 Million edifice now in Southeastern Conference of SDA. He has taught preachers as a guest lecturer at West African University (Liberia branch).

He has served on the Global Prayer Line sponsored by the Northeastern Conference of SDA for several years!

It has been a great blessing to be remembered as the founding pastor of Mt. Sinai in association with Pastor Pat Langley and the late Pastor Harvey Williams. I will cherish the memories of the first members who responded to the evangelistic efforts ( the Spates family, Sis. Outlaw, Trenace, Sis. Bryant and a host of other precious believers.
